1. Product overview

  • !-RexS5208Pis an intelligent GB Ethernet switch with the highly efficient switch engine of 20Gbps that supports various functions and performance.

  • !-RexS5208Pswitch that supports maximum 10 GB ports manages maximum 8,192 MAC addresses, supports IEEE 802.1D/w/s standardSTP (Spanning Tree Protocol) that prevents a disturbance due to network’s loop. As an advanced 2 layer switch it support not only 4094VLANs, 5groups ofLAG, port mirroring, IGMP snooping but also SNTP and LACP. Those functions assist powerful and efficient network management method.

  • To cope with intelligent internet service, it supports advanced traffic management such as IEEE 802.1p CoS, Quality of Service (SP/DRR, 8queues per port), bandwidth control, storm control and access list control. CLI, SNMP and web interface provide eidetic GUI.

  • In order to extend security of system maintenance, server based authorization function HTTPS, RADIUS/ TACACS+, for an example is supported. And also installation of a fan that automatically controlled by the surrounding temperature improves the safety of product and reduces the electric power consumption, noise level.

  • !-RexS5208Pswitch with 8 10/100/1000Base-T ports and 2 GB SFP ports has the best performance and efficiency and optimum safety.

  • 8 10/100/1000Base-T port support IEEE802.3 af and at standard and through integral power supply, each port can supply 30W to 4 ports (IEEE802.3at) or 15W to 8 ports (IEEE802.3af)

  • As it supports ERPS(Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) function that satisfy G.8032 of ITU-T, when 16 of !-RexS5208 form a ring structure, even there is a faulty in a line or an equipment it provides the function that recovering the communication within 50msec automatically.
