Introduction   !-RexC5224X

  • A carrier Ethernet switch with 24 1000Base TX ports and 4 1G or 10Gbe ports provides Ethernet switching and Ethernet transmission function.

1. Product overview

  • !-RexC5224X is a 24port gigabit Ethernet switchwith high efficiency and 4× 1G or 10GbE port has various functions.

  • As a superior embedded MIPS processer of !-RexC5224X, it combined the carrier Ethernet switch functions such as Ethernet OAMÀÇ ±¸Çö, IEEE 1588 timing, supporting SyncE with in/out SMA interface.

  • !-RexC5224X manages maximum of 16K MAC addresses and supports STP and RSTP to prevent a disturbance due to the network loop. The switch not only supports advanced 2-layer switch’s functions such as 4094VLANs, 8 ports/ 12groups ofLAG, port mirroring, IGMP/MLD snooping but also DHCP relay, NTP/SNTP, LACP andself-loop isolation. Those functions assist powerful and efficient network management method.

  • To cope with intelligent internet service, it supports advanced traffic management such as IEEE 802.1p CoS, Quality of Service (SP/WRR /DRR, 8queues per port), bandwidth control, storm control and access list control. It can be managed through CLI, Telnet and SNMP.

  • In order to extend security of system maintenance, server based authorization function,HTTPS, RADIUS/ TACACS+, for an example is supported. Besides it supports ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) based on ITU-T G.8032. And also installation of a fan that automatically controlled by the surrounding temperature improves the safety of product and reduces the electric power consumption, noise level. The power module, can be attached and removed makes it easy for the maintenance service.
